OAO is a non profit public benefit corporation. Our mission is to provide high quality core academic opportunities to homeschooled students.
Aside from the above, we're also here to share information, experience, knowledge and wisdom to those with broad and open enough minds to process it. This comes from extensive studies and learning by the site author into the lessons of life that are not necessarily taught in schools.
Telling the Truth
There are truths out there that are not hidden but, surprisingly, are generally right there in front of everyone to see. The trick, of course is knowing what you're seeing and understanding its meaning. That's where a lot of people miss out, as their attention is mostly directed to other things.
Who would have thought that something as seemingly harmless and benign as the family television set is much more than a focus for people's attention in the name of entertainment? Surely it could be nothing else, right?
Who would have guessed that reading newspapers and magazines did a lot more than simply inform and keep people up to date with what is going on in the world and in their local area? But I need to keep up with the news like all my friends and not ever feel left out of the conversations!
